Sonic Producer is my preferred software to make rap beats

In this day and age, you don’t need to buy expensive recording studio equipment, drum machines, samplers, synths, and keyboards to make rap beats. Thanks to today’s technology just about anyone can produce great sounding beats. Are you looking to make your own music?

I have tried several different music software applications and hip hop beat making software. In this post, I hope to share some of my experience and fill you in on what I found useful to make ur own beats.

Using a hip hop beat maker program

Sonic Producer has several modules to work with while you create your own music.

Start with the mixer module. You can use this to select which sound you’re going to use. Click on the button that is labeled “sample”. A menu will pop-up so you can choose the sound sample for that music channel. The beat making software comes with hundreds of sounds samples for your use. Pick a drum sample to start making our beat.

In the sequence window, add in some drum hits to Track #1. Try putting the drum hits into the first beat of each measure across the entire song loop.

Press the play button above the sequence module to hear what you have added.

Continue doing this same thing with new drum sound samples in new mixer channels and place them in varying song tracks to make your very own rap beat.

Once you feel the drums part of your beat is sounding good, add some new channels and choose some of the other instruments and fill out your new instrumental rap beats. This is the creative part. Have fun and make your own music. Plus, you can do it online using any computer operating system.

Make Some Cash
Once you learn to make rap beats you can export and save as an MP3 file. This is a standard format and can be used universally.
There are many websites online that buy hip hop beats. You can provide your music beats MP3 and get paid in return!
Your songs can be bought and used as hip hop beats for rappers, for video games, product marketing, and much more.
